I'm particularly concerned about Sec. 300.104, which would prohibit the manufacture, processing, distribution, and retail sale of smokable hemp products in Texas. This rule arbitrarily bans products from Texas shelves. It handicaps our entire hemp industry--putting us at a clear disadvantage to neighboring states. Some retailers will lose up to 50% of their revenue, which would be devastating in this down economy. Please avoid harming small businesses with rules that hurt their bottom line.
